Romanian local election, 2012

Local elections have been held in Romania on 10 June 2012. The Government initially tried to postpone the election to be the same day with Romanian legislative election, 2012.〔(Romania government survives no-confidence vote )〕 But a ruling of the Constitutional court made that option impossible. As of June 2011, a law was passed by the parliament, and promulgated by the president, in which the mayors and the presidents of the County Councils will be elected with in a First Past the Post system.
Will be elected:
* all the villages, communes, cities, and municipal councils (Local Councils, (ルーマニア語、モルドバ語():Consilii Locale)), and the Sectors Local Councils of Bucharest ((ルーマニア語、モルドバ語():Consilii Locale de Sector))
* the 41 County Councils ((ルーマニア語、モルドバ語():Consilii Județene)), and the Bucharest Municipal General Council ((ルーマニア語、モルドバ語():Consiliul General Al Municipiului București)).
* the 41 Presidents of the County Councils ((ルーマニア語、モルドバ語():Președinții Consiliilor Județene))
* all the mayors ((ルーマニア語、モルドバ語():Primarii))
*
* of the communes, cities, and municipalities
*
